The band’s versatility and authentic representation of popular songs perpetuate a great reputation and has lead to many honors, including the 2000 Presidential Inaugural Ball, New York State Senator Alfonse D'Amato's Son's wedding reception, the wedding reception of Tina Fey, the star and head writer of Saturday Night Live, "Mean Girls", and 30 Rock. Sid and his band have been voted one of the top event bands in the nation by the national publication, Modern Bride Magazine.

Fusion also provided the music for the 2006 R&B Foundation Awards VIP Party, whose guests included Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Patti LaBelle, Gerald Lavert, The Delphonics, the president of Motown Records, Berry Gordy, and the great songwriters, Ashford and Simpson, Kenny Gamble, and Thom Belle.
